    CCP will host a First Friday Network lunch on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 11:45am to 1:15pm.  This event is open to both members and non-members.  Lunch will be $25 for members and $35 for non-members.  Our planned speaker, Randall Goldman, will be unable to join us due to an unexpected out of town obligation (watch for him in a future meeting).  Sean Kittrell, Assistant US Attorney, Violent Crime Task Force for the District of South Carolina, has graciously agreed to join us as our new guest speaker!

    This evening with George Weigel will be a time of Catholic Christian Fellowship in Charleston, SC!

    When:  Thursday, October 5, 2017
    Time: 6:30 pm: Doors Open; 7:00 pm: Dinner Buffet
    Location:  The Cedar Room, above Mercantile and Mash, at 701 East Bay Street in Charleston, SC
    Suggested Donation for Tickets: We do not wish cost to be a barrier to faithful fellowship, therefore we are leaving it to attendees to set their contribution to help us cover the cost of the event.  $100 donation per ticket is suggested (includes dinner and a one year membership with CCP). Special College Student Rate: $15 (limited number of tickets at this rate available). Only 300 tickets total are available. Your RSVP confirmation email will serve as your ticket.

    George Weigel, one of America’s leading Catholic intellectuals, Distinguished Senior Fellow and William E. Simon Chair in Catholic Studies at the Ethics in Public Policy Center and biographer of Pope Saint John Paul II.  Mr. Weigel will discuss Faith and Culture and his new book, Lessons in Hope, My Unexpected Life with Saint John Paul II.

    We will also be joined by the Most Reverend Robert E. Guglielmone, Bishop of the Diocese of Charleston.

    Proceeds will go to support:

    • South Carolina Catholic Radio
    • Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach Services
    • Daughters of Saint Paul

    The dinner will launch Carolina Catholic Professionals (CCP), a network of Catholic business people and professionals from across the Lowcountry affiliated with Lucis Via Charities, a 501 (c)(3) organization that supports Catholic charitable organizations in South Carolina.
